Although the course is in the Developer track, Administrators who want to learn about Virtual Schemas may also enroll. The course Exasol Essentials is a prerequisite for this course. Mind that you import an Oracle Database as VirtualBox appliance during the hands-on labs of this course. Then you connect it to the Exasol Community Edition VirtualBox VM. Using a public demo account is not an option for this course.

Uwe works as Training Coordinator, Course Developer and Instructor for Exasol. He is also in charge for Exasol's Certification programme.
All Exacademy courses are free. Certification is optional and charged with 150 EUR incl. VAT per attempt. One free exam attempt is granted per course if you complete 70% of the hands-on exercises.
After completing the online training, you have the option to do a certification exam. The exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions and you need to achieve at least 75% to pass and to receive a certificate.
Each course has a Discussion Forum, where you can put your course related questions. Exasol staff monitors these.
