We discuss Exasol Cluster Database deployment on premises here. You should attend the course Exasol Administration Essentials before this course as it explains several administration topics that are not platform specific.
The course covers the following topics:
The course consists of videos, quizzes and many hands-on exercises. Within the hands-on exercises, you will install a 2+1 Cluster on your own local machine using VirtualBox VMs. The course environment is not provided by Exasol - you need to use your own hardware for it. We recommend to use a machine with 16 GB memory and 80 GB free disk space for it.
This course has been designed for Administrators in charge of an Exasol Cluster Database. Also Developers and other people in technical roles may benefit from it. You will be doing several quite elaborate technical tasks including the installation and configuration of an Exasol Cluster during this course. But it results in having your own Exasol Sandbox to play with, so it might be worth the effort.

Uwe works as Training Coordinator, Course Developer and Instructor for Exasol. He is also in charge for Exasol's Certification programme.
All Exacademy courses are free-of-charge. The certification costs 150 EUR incl. VAT.
After completing the online training, you have the option to do a certification exam. The exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions and you need to achieve at least 75% to pass and receive a certificate. One free exam attempt is granted per course if you complete 70% of the hands-on exercises.
Each course has a Discussion Forum, where you can put your course related questions. Exasol staff monitors these.
